Auto IRIS Len needs a driving circuit to control and operate a motor which is the major equipment to adjust the aperture range following the light variation. The driving circuit can be placed on two different part of a camera. If the control circuit is set on camera lens, we call a camera containing VIDEO DRIVER function. In contrast, we call a DC Driver camera if the control circuit is placed in the camera.
Besides, a DC level switcher can also be used to identify a VIDEO Driver or DC Driver camera. If the DC level switcher is set on camera lens, we call that camera containing VIDEO DRIVER function and we call a DC Driver camera if the DC level switcher is set in the camera.
